At Hopdoddy in Hillsboro Village, this was one of those tables where every plate looked like it had a purpose. Two wagyu builds, a mountain of truffle parm fries, and rose blonde beers glowing in the glass — a full spread that lands somewhere between comfort food and calculated indulgence.
The wagyu smash burger brought the crisp-edged sear you hope for, with enough richness to feel decadent without getting heavy. The Cadillac wagyu burger leaned even harder into that richness, adding a more layered bite that rewarded taking it slow. Together, they made a good side-by-side: one direct and punchy, the other stacked and plush.
The truffle parm fries were the right move in the middle — salty, aromatic, and clearly built for sharing. Paired with a rose blonde beer, the whole thing stayed balanced. You get the depth from the burgers, lift from the beer, and enough crunch from the fries to keep every bite interesting.
If you’re going to do burger night in Nashville, this is a strong version of it.
